What’s involved in the process

1. Application submission

Download, complete, and submit the ASI NA application form in English—along with required documents (e.g., TTAP approval) and your Business Partner Integrity Questionnaire.

2. Initial check

Within around 10 calendar days, we’ll screen your submission. If any details are missing, we’ll let you know.

3. Desk review and assessments

We conduct a document-based desk review to confirm you meet both Scheme Owner (SO) and ASI approval requirements. Assessment Standards Institute.

A participating Accreditation Body (AB), with mandatory ASI assessor participation, then carries out accreditation assessments (Tier One). ASI may also conduct Tier Two assurance assessments to ensure your ongoing performance.

What to expect next

After successful assessments and closure of any major nonconformities, the AB issues your Accreditation Certificate.

ASI then issues the Approval Certificate, and you are added to the list of approved CABs, ready to certify under ASI’s program.

ASI takes integrity seriously. We may reject any application exhibiting fraud, misrepresentation, concealed information, legal noncompliance, or undue business risk. Reapplication is allowed—but only after a full new submission and fee.
